President’s Welcome /  Bienvenida del Presidente

At Patten University we strive to provide students with a quality Christian liberal arts education through the combination of three important elements: Learning, Faith and Community.

"Learning" includes our experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, as well as an integration of our past, present and future perspectives;

"Faith" is our world-view, which has God as its starting point. We seek to nurture spiritual development by study of the Bible, prayer and worship;

"Community" includes reaching beyond one's own interests and concerns to share common interests. It is our commitment to care for each other within the campus community and in the cities we represent.

In short, we attempt to develop in our students excellent learning skills, a vibrant faith and a deep commitment to serve their community.

Bienvenida del Presidente

En la Universidad Patten nos esforzamos en equipar a los estudiantes con una educación cristiana de calidad en las artes liberales a través de la combinación de tres elementos importantes: el aprendizaje, la fe y la comunidad.

"Aprendiendo" incluye nuestras experiencias, tanto dentro como fuera del aula, así como una integración de nuestro pasado, presente y perspectivas futuras;

"La fe" es nuestra visión del mundo, teniendo a Dios como el punto de partida. Buscamos aumentar el desarrollo espiritual por el estudio de la Biblia, la oración y la adoración;

"Comunidad" incluye ir más allá de nuestros propios intereses y preocupaciones para así poder compartir intereses comunes. Es nuestro compromiso el cuidar por los demás dentro de la comunidad universitaria y a las ciudades que se representan.

Tratamos de desarrollar en nuestros alumnos una excelente capacidad de aprendizaje, una fe vibrante y un profundo compromiso de servir a su comunidad.
