Dr. Marc Porter’s expertise lies in organizational learning and development. His experience includes positions in both academe and corporations. He has directed graduate studies in human communication and chaired a management and business program. His scholarly interests and doctoral degree are in organizational communication. He has published articles on social constraints toward diversity in organizations, deflection in environmental advertising by corporations, and managing the common ground in organizational conflicts. He also directed education and training for a division of Intel. He holds a doctorate from Ohio University, a master’s in Human Resource Development from Brigham Young University, and a bachelor’s in Public Relations from the University of Georgia.
