Biography
Dr. Karen Ensor serves as the Chair of Credential Programs and M.A. in the Education Faculty Committee; Credential Programs and M.A. in the Education Advisory Committee; Credential Supervisors Committee; and M.A. Advisors Committee. She teaches undergraduate courses in Psychology and Sociology as well as graduate courses in Observation & Participation, Supervised Teaching, and Research.
Dr. Ensor serves on various off-campus education committees including Oakland Unified School District Internship Partnership Committee and San Francisco Unified School District Induction Program Committee. Her recent workshop presentations include: What is Being Done to Develop Qualified Teachers in California: Legislation, Research and Credentialing Requirements; and Meeting the Challenge of the Diverse Student Population in California. Outside of academia, Dr. Ensor organizes regular activities and camps for children. One of her personal passions is traveling "with a purpose."
