Biography

Over his thirty-year career, William (Bill) J. Harrington has performed with professional symphonies, operas, and ballet companies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the Past President of the California Orchestra Directors Association (CODA). He served as Chair of: the CMEA All-State Orchestra, the CODA State Honor Orchestra Festival, ACSI Northern California High School Honor Band, and ACSI Honor Symphony.

Mr. Harrington is currently working on his dissertation at Boston University with a focus on "Collaborative learning among high school students in a chamber music setting." He is the principal Horn with West Edge Opera, Modesto Symphony, and The Brassworks of San Francisco. Mr. Harrington coaches and performs with the Sequoia Chamber Music Workshop.
