Since 1986, Patten University Weekend Science courses have offered an accelerated alternative to fulfilling the Health Science prerequisite courses for pre-med, pre-dental, pre-chiropractic, pre-nursing, as well as physical therapy and other related Health Science fields.

One semester is completed in 4 weekends. All courses are held in San Jose. All courses are WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accredited. Course hours are 10:00AM to 5:30PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Labs are an integral part of all the courses. I-20 and Financial Aid available to qualifying students.

Courses offered are General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology.

Due to our accreditation, our students and the transferred classes have been accepted by SF State University School of Nursing, UCSF, as well as the prerequisite courses for the Health Science Programs offered by a wide variety of community and other colleges.

Students may wish to fill out registration and admission forms or drop off any completed paperwork on the first day of class.
